Community guidelines

Any content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits or endangers a minor is absolutely forbidden: child sexual abuse material, images or texts that sexualize minors, approaching a minor for sexual purposes (grooming), sextortion and trafficking.

We remove that content, close the account permanently, preserve the evidence and report it to the competent authorities as the law requires. More details in our Child safety standards: https://convobooks.app/child-safety.

It is forbidden to write in comments or ratings:

• Sexual, pornographic or nude content.
• Violence, graphic content, threats or incitement to harm.
• Hate speech or discrimination based on religion, race, origin, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other condition.
• Content that promotes self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
• Spam, scams, chain messages, unauthorized advertising or misleading links.
• Impersonation of other people or of ConvoBooks.
• False information that can cause harm.
• Other people's personal data without their permission.
• Any illegal content or content that violates the rights of third parties.

It is not allowed to harass, bully or intimidate other people; to mock or belittle other readers; to follow someone from comment to comment in order to attack them; to organize group attacks against a person; or to create accounts to evade a block or a suspension.

On any comment or rating open the “···” menu and choose Report; you can also report a person from their profile. Choose the reason that best describes it and tap “Send report”. The reported person does not know who reported them.

You can follow the status of your reports in the Menu › My reports. You can also write to us at diosesamorporsiempre.cloud@gmail.com, especially if a minor is at risk.

From a person's profile or from the “···” menu of their comments you can block them. When you block someone you stop seeing their content and that person cannot comment on or react to yours. You can review and undo your blocks in the Menu › Blocked people.

Before publishing, an automatic filter checks the text and blocks forbidden words. Then our moderation team reviews every report within 24 hours at most; those involving minors are handled first.

If the content breaks these rules, we remove it and apply the consequences in the next section. We tell you the outcome in the Menu › My reports. We also remove objectionable content on our own initiative.

Depending on the severity and on whether it is the first time, we may delete the content, temporarily suspend the account or close it permanently.

Cases of child abuse or exploitation and credible threats lead to the immediate and permanent closure of the account and are reported to the authorities.
